Please meet Paige!  This lovely little brindle/white girl was found as a stray and
surrendered to the Vicksburg, MS shelter who in turn called us to see if we could help
Paige find a new home.

This gal is a clown and when it comes to play she is fun, fun, fun!!  She loves, and we
mean LOVES, toys!  She tries to take them outside to potty with her and we always
have to remind her to leave them inside.  As soon as she comes back in, she runs and
grabs her stuffie and gives it a vigorous shake.  She loves to chase the toys you throw,
jump up to retrieve them if you hold them up high, and really enjoys a game of
tug-o-war.  She'll growl, snarl, and tug on the toy as long as you'll play with her.  She is
amazingly agile for such a chubby little girl and it's so humorous to watch her
acrobatics when she jumps up to retrieve the toys you hold up high for her.  She's
totally a little monkey and playing with her is more fun that an barrel of 'em!!

She will growl and tug on a toy if you'll play with her but she has never shown any
aggression whatsoever towards people.  She's actually quite affection and loves
attention.  She puts on quite a show when you come home....jumping and dancing
around to welcome you back.  Where ever you go, what ever you do, Paige is ready to
be your constant companion.

Around other dogs, she is without a doubt, the undisputed queen!  She can be quite
easily socialized with mellow, submissive dogs and actually enjoys tussling and playing
with them.  She gets along best with younger dogs/pups and submissive males.  If a
dominant and/or grouchy dog refuses to acknowledge her queenship, then she can get
grumpy.  If they challenge her, she will accept.  Therefore, Paige would do better as
either and only dog or in a home with sedate, mellow canine residents.  She has never
been around cats while in foster care but we think she'd probably think it was quite fun
to chase them.  However, many cats know how to place a clawed paw across a pup's
face in a way that will keep even Diva's like Paige in their place!

Paige has been spayed, vaccinated, treated for heartworms (she was positive when she
came to us), is now negative and on a monthly preventative.  She's healthy, lively and
fun loving!  She would make a wonderful companion for some lucky person.  She's
always dancing around, shaking and playing with toys, and doing silly things that keep
us laughing.

If you'd like to have a beautiful, active, fun loving young lady like Paige to share your
life with, please fill out an adoption application and mention her name.  She's just
waiting to have fun with you!
